Season 4
Alea and Bairon Wykes went to Xyrus Academy to report their findings in the dungeons to Cynthia Goodsky. They were interrupted by two students, Arthur Leywin and Claire Bladeheart. Alea sensed strong bloodlust from Arthur toward Bairon and confronted him. She quickly conjured a sword made from her plant magic. Despite Arthur’s denial, Alea was not fooled and warned him about Bairon’s strength. After bidding goodbye, Alea remarked that Arthur reminded her of her brother.
Later, Alea, Bairon, and Varay Aurae discussed unusual activity in the Beast Glades. Alea was assigned to investigate due to her sensory magic. She entered the Hell’s Jaw dungeon and discovered a mutated Hades Serpent. After a fierce battle, Alea and her troops defeated it, only to find a hidden tunnel leading to the Widow’s Crypt where a Vritra was hiding.
The Vritra gave Alea a choice: dismember her troops or fight him. Alea chose to fight but was overpowered. The Vritra severely wounded her, gouged out her eyes, and left her to hear her soldiers’ screams. Arthur Leywin found Alea’s body and she transferred her memories to him, apologizing for the trauma.
